Behind this home page lies a joyous adventure in words (lots of words), music, images and colour as I share with you the gifts I love to work with. Read about, watch, listen and be inspired by: world class musicians; original songs and stories for children and the child within; and interview articles with people who are making a difference in this world.
QUILLS: Index of Articles
Here are human interest stories, reviews of concerts and
CDs, biographies, and interview articles with both world class performers and the neighbour next door. See Index
These are inspiring stories of achievement, success,
tragedy, struggle, discipline, humour, love, passion, hope,
new ideas, old ideas, and life. Most of the articles have been published in newspapers and magazines and on the internet as promotion for artists and orchestras.
Since its first appearance on the Internet in 2002, Quills Quotes & Notes has published three CDs, several YouTube videos, and several 'little' books for children and the child within - "One Seed", "The Whales' Secret", and "The Day the Wind Changed", all of which are now FREE downloads as PDFs. "Colour You Healthy" is a Pocket Guide to the Use, Effects and Healing Properties of Colour, and "Happy Feet Foot Massage" is a fully illustrated manual on this unique technique using reflexology, massage and natural healing techniques.
Follow links from the images above and from the menu to the left for details and see the QQandN Catalogue and Order pages.
Above is also shown "A Song To Remember", published in 2014 by Reikos International, written for and available through the British Columbia Boys Choir.
Music is an integral part of this web site - from the musicians who have been interviewed for articles to original music and recordings I have created, and my performances for audiences of all ages. There are lyrics for original songs, and FREE MP3 and video downloads such as the educational children's read-along, sing-along "One Seed" video, and a video of just the "One Seed Song" with lyrics.

So come on into the web site for a cozy, comfortable
experience - put on the kettle for a good hot cup
of tea or coffee, or sip on a glass of great red wine (the internet
can also be slow and enjoyable), and read about: bassist Gary
Karr and his love of chocolate; of the hilarious opera comedienne
Natalie Choquette and her family; about the harmonious Celtic Tenors from Ireland; or about the amazing life of jazz singer Dee Daniels while listening to her singing; and so much more...
